Day 1 — Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our office representative will warmly greet you and transfer you to Hotel Moonlight or a similar standard accommodation. After check-in, you can take some time to relax from your journey. At 6:00 PM, a short briefing will be held about your tour program. If you arrive after 4:00 PM, the briefing will instead be given during breakfast the next morning. Any outstanding payments, if applicable, will also be settled at this time.


Tip: If your arrival is earlier in the day, you can add some optional sightseeing around Kathmandu such as visiting the Garden of Dreams or Ason Bazaar. Meals are not included today, giving you the flexibility to try one of the many restaurants around Thamel. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2 — Kathmandu Sightseeing & Drive to Nagarkot

After breakfast, your vehicle and guide will pick you up at 9:00 AM for a full-day sightseeing tour of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

  • Pashupatinath Temple: Nepal’s holiest Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, located along the Bagmati River. Non-Hindu visitors can observe temple rituals and cremation ceremonies from across the river.

Day 3 — Bhaktapur & Patan Sightseeing

Rise early at 5:00 AM to witness a spectacular sunrise over the Himalayas, including Langtang, Ganesh Himal, Gaurishankar, and, on clear days, Mount Everest. After breakfast, begin your cultural exploration.

  • Bhaktapur Durbar Square (13 km from Kathmandu): A living museum of medieval Newari architecture with highlights like the 55-Window Palace, Nyatapola Temple, and Dattatreya Temple. The area is also famous for pottery workshops—you may try your hand at creating a clay pot.
  • Patan Durbar Square: Located southeast of Kathmandu, this square is adorned with Newari temples, palaces, and statues. Notable landmarks include Krishna Mandir, Bhimsen Temple, and the Patan Museum, showcasing Nepalese art and artifacts.
